Paar hohe Blumenkandelaber von Eugène Hazard, ab 1838 nachgewiesen – 1891 Paris

Height: 68 cm each. Signed on the bronze base "Eug. Hazart, Paris". Circa 1850. Each with three flames, of high quality craftsmanship, in the Louis XVI style. Three-part construction, each in the form of a white marble vase with handle on a fluted column drum and square bronze base. Flower arrangements of lilies, carnations and roses rise from the vase. The flowers, leaves and buds are in gilded bronze, the central stem rising upwards. The candle holders in the shape of flowers. The round base, handles and festoons on the vase bodies are also in gilt bronze. Eugène Hazart joined the "Réunion des Fabricants de Bronze" in 1839. He has been known for his work since 1843, especially from 1884 with the company Gebr. Pannier, which exhibited his works in the Palais-Royal in Paris and also represented him for decades in the "Expositions des Produits de l'Industrie".
