Height: 96.5 cm. Width: 42.5 cm. Depth: 30.5 cm. England, 19th century. Three-storey structure with a compartmentalized drawer and a sloping writing compartment above with inset drawers and an open letter compartment. Above an arched, closed cabinet with a door opening to the right and ten internal drawers, a central door and open compartments. The inside of the door has mirror panelling in the style of Chinese export lacquer work. English furniture designed for the European market with gold lacquer painting on a red background, on softwood. Three keys present. Remainder. (14011013) (13)
