Barocke Schatulle mit Marketerie
Height: 18 cm. Width: 38.5 cm. Depth: 23.5 cm. Longitudinal box on stud feet with round domed lid. Figural marquetry on all sides in fine thread inlay framing: The lid depicts a gentleman with a pipe at a table, with a letter with the year 1715 on it. The front, lid and sides decorated with foliate scrolls, shells and flowers. Star in bone and ebony on the back. Inside, lateral lid compartment with small concealed secret drawers; original colored paper lining. Key for front lock present. (1401575) (13)
