Height: 41 cm. Width: 33 cm. Depth: 12 cm. Signature on dial. Leblond, Nicolas clockmaker in Paris, Place Dauphine, born 1742, mentioned February 26, 1770. Or Leblond, Nicolas, clockmaker in Paris, mentioned April 10, 1788 and May 26, 1790. Construction using three types of marble in black, Carrara white and porphyry. Case on a double base, flanked by gilded antique female figures, crowned by an eagle of Jupiter. Enamel dial with Arabic hours and minutes. Domed front glass. Pierced and gilt hands. 14-day going train, pendulum on thread suspension, lock plate striking train for half and hour strike on bell. Clock starts, pendulum and key missing.A.R. (1401871) (11)
