Seat height: 45 cm. Backrest height: 93 cm. France, 18th century. Knee rests carved with flowers over short, S-shaped curved legs. The curved and florally decorated frame, curved towards the front, merging into fluted, closed armrests and a matching backrest with floral decoration. Secondary, red and white checkered upholstery in a ready-to-live-in design. Provenance: Formerly Ariane Dandois, Paris, according to the previous owner. South German aristocratic property.
