Description

Pair of cane-bottom chairs in beech and natural walnut. The backs are scrolled and decorated with a large flower and small foliage. The seat frame is molded and rests on a scalloped belt, molded with a wide cavet and adorned on the front with a flowery apron. It stands on an arched base finished with leafy hooves. François Canot (1721-1786) is stamped on the rear crosspiece of the seat frames. Lyon work, Louis XV period. Height Height : 95 cm Depth : 45 cm Width : 51.5 cm
