Round and hollow porcelain plate in grisaille. China, Compagnie des Indes. circa 1735 Decorated in the European style with a gallant scene in a medallion. The wing is decorated with flowering branches on a gold background. Diameter: 22.5 cm Crack. Slight wear to decoration. Bibliography: F. et N. Hervouët, La porcelaine de la compagnie des Indes à décor occidental. Ref. 7.5 page 143 where a similar example is reproduced.
