They were developed from 1971 onwards by French triallist Christian Rayer, supported by Jean-Claude Olivier (former president of Sonauto-Yamaha), and then by British rider Mick Andrews, winner of three world titles in 1971, 1972 and 1973. The Yamaha TY 125 democratized the practice of trials and gave rise to numerous vocations among budding trialists. Frenchman Thierry Michaud, who went on to become a three-time world trials champion, started out on this simple, affordable beginner's machine. 1989 YAMAHA Type FZX Serial number: 6089 750 cm3 55494 km on odometer French registration 1 000 / 2 000 € This roadster-type Yamaha 750 FZX is powered by a four-cylinder engine, with a temperament and original styling that always makes a splash. This machine was born and bred, and sold well until 1993; The engine wasn't the first 100 hp, but its design could be said to be far more innovative than that of the GSX-R with its 20-valve cylinder head. Water-cooled cylinder block inclined at 45°, carburetors positioned vertically and connecting rod mounted on 5 bearings. The chassis is more classic. The frame has a double steel cradle, but shows real sporting qualities. The front axle is fitted with a 16-inch wheel, very much in vogue at the time, intended to provide greater handling without compromising the GSXR's bike-like qualities. The FZ oscillates between classicism and modernity, taking the best of both. And if it's less playful than the Suzuki, it's also more reassuring and a little stiffer. The bike presented here is in beautiful, original condition. We recommend that future purchasers carry out the usual restarts required by the immobilization of these machines in the Musée du Collectionneur.

1958 Derny Taon Serial number 0567 Engine number 125-3-AR-10673 8396 km on the odometer French collector's registration 2000 / 3000€ Designer Roger Tallon, whose name by contraction became Taon, is also the designer of the Corail, the TGV, RER signage, Lip Mach 2000 watches, the Televia television that sat in President Pompidou's living room, and hundreds of other objects. On leaving General Motors, he was hired by Derny, a Parisian brand specializing in bicycles and tandems with auxiliary engines, to create their first motorcycle. The result was an atypical 125, with a frame linking the steering column in a straight line to the Ar integrating the headlight, tank, saddle and Ar mudguard. The AMC 2t bv 3 engine is suspended underneath. An Earles-type front fork with quality Lelaurin shock absorbers gives this bike a futuristic look. It was sold in 1957 until the factory closed in 1958, due to a downturn in the French motorcycle market.
