Moorish modeled slave and slave girl with chained wrists, sitting on a rock against a tree stump. Pair of rare and important white porcelain figurines. Ginori in Doccia, c. 1760-1770. The figures are derived from the 16th-century monument by Pietro Tacca (1570-1640), known as the Four Moors, in Livorno, celebrating the Medici family's triumph over the Ottomans.
