First edition of the famous work compiled by the "lay monk of the Congregation of the Celestines of S. Pietro a Majella" Vincenzo Corrado (Oria, 1736 - Naples 1836), a man of great culture, a great gastronome and one of the greatest cooks who distinguished himself between the 1700s and 1800s in the noble courts of Naples. He was the first to put "Mediterranean cuisine" in writing and to enhance Italian regional cuisine. His work was reprinted six times. (slight defects and stains to the paper)
