Superb edition with a preface by Jean Cocteau, illustrated with 20 original lithographs signed in the plate by Léonard FOUJITA (1886-1968), including three full-page, one double-page and sixteen three-quarter-page lithographs. Edition of 261 copies signed by the artist at the justification. One of 210 on large Rives vellum, this being one of 50 on this paper including a suite of lithographs on Rives vellum and a color silk signed by Foujita. A very well preserved copy, without the lithograph entitled L'Académie française, which is more often included with copies on Rives without a suite.
