Fray). Partly first edition of this fine collection of poems by René Char. Fêtes des arbres et du chasseur was published separately by GLM in 1948, without the Abrégé. One of 28 copies on Hollande Van Gelder vellum, the second paper after 6 copies on Madagascar. A very fine copy in the original period binding by Marguerite Fray (1900-1974). Spine very slightly oiled.
