In-8, long-grained midnight-blue morocco, multiple gilt fillets framing, ornate 4-nerved spine, interior fillets, gilt edges (Brigandat). XVI-258 // (6f.)-207-48-24. Translation by P.-A. Plougoulm. Ex-dono by Plougoulm on title page. A fine copy in a binding by Brigandat, a bookbinder who practiced in Paris in the first half of the 19th century and is rarely seen. Attached: CICÉRON. De la vieillesse et de l'amitié. Paris, Duprat, Librairie de la Bibliothèque Royale, 1841. In-12, duck-blue morocco, triple fillet, ornate 5-rib spine, interior lace, gilt edges (Period binding).
