Italian shaller around 1480/90 Gothic knight's helmet This Gothic helmet from Italy was probably made around 1480/90. Its exceptionally high-quality workmanship can be seen on the one hand in the wonderfully curved shape and on the other hand in the very detailed lining rivets. Unfortunately, the 3 cross marks could not be identified. However, it can be assumed that this helmet comes from either Venice or Milan. It is almost certainly a water find. The helmet is in very good condition for a ground or water find. This model is unlikely to have had a visor. The holes at the temples were probably for applications.
