Set of twelve silver tokens, 18th century, 1774-1792 The obverse features a portrait of King Louis XVI surrounded by the Latin inscription lud. Xvi. Rex. Christianiss. The reverse inscribed Servanti civem querna corona datur (To the one who saves a citizen is given an oak crown), the motto of the city of Chartres, around the Chartres coat of arms within an oak crown in the center. Very good condition, a few traces of oxidation on three pieces. D. 2.8 cm Total weight 115.37 g
