Upper right inscribed in the printing plate: "Bonne Hollandaise ". Date: 19th century Description: The work shows a young woman in frontal view with headgear but bare chest. She is looking at herself in the mirror and appears to be absorbed in a moment of introspection. A delicate, pastel-coloured palette emphasises the intimacy of the scene. Subtly accentuated by hatching and soft shading, the depiction has a sensual atmosphere.
