Andersen Just, after the bath circa 1920, signed Just A Denmark, model number D1871y, cast metal with dark green patina, a female nude sitting on a rock, her towel spread out beneath her, one arm scratched, otherwise in good condition for its age, h 23 cm. Artist information: Danish sculptor and silversmith (1884 Godhavn to 1943 Glostrup), learnt the craft of ornamental sculpture under Hans Christian Lamberg Petersen, studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1910, studied under Jens Møller-Jensen at the School of Arts and Crafts (now the Danish Design School) in Copenhagen from 1912, worked for the silversmith Georg Arthur Jensen at the beginning of his career, the jeweller Anton Michelsen and the goldsmith Peter Hertz, worked for three years on an altar in Copenhagen's Church of the Blessed Sacrament under the direction of Mogens Ballin, from 1918 worked with his own company Just Andersen Zinn, from 1929 changed its name to a public limited company, his widow continued to run his company until her death in 1973.
