Info: During the Art Nouveau period, the Schöttle furniture factory was a progressive manufacturer that produced and sold furniture made using the Xylektypom process invented by the J. Buyten and Sons furniture factory in Düsseldorf. This process made it possible to mechanically decorate panels with attractive wood grain reliefs. Important artists provided designs for xylektypom furniture, such as Hans Eduard von Berlepsch-Valendas and Bernhard Pankok.
