The leather sheath with a brass device consisting of a mouth with a bracket and a tip has dried out. The blade has two longitudinal grooves on both sides. On one side there is an engraving "Antoine Revel".; Condition-II

France Infantry Officer's Saber 1821 Infantry officer's saber, model 1821. Total length 920 mm. The length of the blade with the handle (without sheath) is 900 mm. Blade length without handle – 757mm. The blade width at the heel is 27mm. Sheath length – 768mm. An image is applied on both sides of the blade using etching and gilding, with the inscription “Ordre Public” on one side and “Garde Nationale” on the other. The saber blade is steel, slightly curved, bipartite (one fuller is wide, the second, running along the very edge of the butt, is narrow). The heel area is not highlighted. The hilt of the saber consists of a hilt and a guard; The handle is made of shark skin, its metal parts are made of brass. The scabbard of the saber is leather (dried out) with brass inserts.
