A Sèvres style porcelain plate (‘assiette unie’) of Madame du Barry type, the porcelain possibly 18th century, the decoration 19th century, the blue marks of interlaced L mark enclosing date letter T for 1772 and painter's mark for Jean-Jacque Pierre Le Jeune (possibly spurious), the centre decorated with a gilt D and floral B monogram (probably spurious), the border with three baskets of flowers divided by three oval cartouches with putti in clouds flanked by garlands, against a dark-blue ground within a gilt dentil border, 24.4cm wide
