A Neapolitan polychrome decorated terracotta and wood presepio group, late 18th century, comprising a horse with glass eyes and silk saddle and blanket fringed with metallic thread, gold braided harness and silver stirrups, with three attendant figures, all with glass eyes and elaborately dressed with gilt embroidered silk and cotton clothing, mounted on a later pine stand, the horse - 39cm high, 44cm wide; the tallest figure - 37cm high (4) Provenance: Christie's, 21 April 1982, lot 330.
