A George III wood doll, late 18th century, with carved, turned and painted head and torso, the head with inset dark enamel pupil-less eyes, dotted eyelashes and eyebrow, red painted mouth and nostrils, rouged cheeks, cloth upper arms with carved and painted wooden hands with elongated fingers (damaged) and wooden legs (possibly replaced, missing top joints), wearing a later cotton dress, petticoat and corset, 34.5cm high
