Pierre-Jean David d’Angers (1788-1856), d’après Médaillon en bronze d’Antoine Boulay de la Meurthe, dans un encadrement en bois plaqué de noyer du XIXe siècle. Gravé en bas: «»DAVID // 1832» et à droite: «BOULAY // DE LA MEURTHE»» Diam.: 11,6 cm Antoine Boulay de la Meurthe (1761-1840) fut un homme politique du XIXe siècle. Comte d'Empire en 1808, il pris une part active à la rédaction du code Napoléon. Un exemplaire en bronze est conservé au Musée des Beaux Arts d'Angers sous le numéro MBA 838.3.2, et en plâtre au Louvre sous le numéro ENT 1921.013 .
