Plateau du Khorassan

Eastern Iran, 12th-13th century In engraved bronze with a red and green patina, decorated in the center with a very faded rosette, surrounded by an epigraphic frieze interlaced with three-lobed fleurons. Epigraphic decoration in "kufic" on the outer wall, in "naskh" on the flattened rim, alternates with interlacing cartouches. It stands on three feline-shaped feet.
