Iran, probably Tabriz, 17th century Ceramic with polychrome enameled decoration of large flowering branches. Condition : Broken, glued, small missing parts. Diameter: 34 cm Although named after the city of Kubachi in Dagestan, in present-day Russia, specialists believe that "Kubachi" pottery was made during the Safavid period in northwestern Iran. Provenance : Christie's, London, April 26, 2018, n°70. A so-called Kubachi pottery dish, probably Tabriz, North West Iran, 17th century.
