Elbicei Atika. Museum of ancient Turkish costumes of Constantinople. Paris, Lemercier, sd [1855]. In-folio, dark green half-chagrin, smooth spine, cold framing on boards with gilt title in gilt decoration on upper board (period binding). Binding worn and detached from book block, spine split. Two-tone lithographed title and 22 lithographed plates in color, by Régnier, Bettanier, Lemoine, Bayalos, Bour, Raunhiem, Hadamar, Gilbert, Duruy,... after drawings by Jean Brindesi and depicting costumes of great dignitaries from the time of Mahmout II (1808-1838). Part of the collection published by Collinot de Beaumont under the general title "Encyclopédie des arts décoratifs de l'Orient". Rousseurs. (Colas, I, 159; Lipperheide 1438; Vinet 2340.). Based on drawings by Jean Brindesi and depicting the costumes of great dignitaries from the time of Mahmut II (1808-1838).
