Ceinture de Mariage "Zonari me tin corona"

Greece, Soufli, 19th century Gilt bronze and enameled with blue and green glass paste, enhanced with glass buttons and cabochon. The buckle comprises two rectangular sections that fit together under a poly-lobed plate decorated with a gilded double-headed eagle and floral foliage. Condition: some missing parts Clasp size: 13.5 x 20.5 cm - L. 81 cm. These belts are called "corona" because of the crown-shaped buckle. They are given by the groom to his bride.
