AMERICAN WRITINGS - ODE TO THE GI'S LIBERATORS Author: Philippe LABRO- Publisher: QUARTO - GALLIMARD These benches "in the shape of open books" called "Livre à 2 Places ®" are made of resin and fiberglass. Adult" format Weight : 36 kgs Length : 1, 40 m. Height : 1m. Depth : 0.70 m. Front and back: 4 brackets allow the bench to be fixed to a base or to the ground (with 4 screws) Texts and photos After a selection of texts and photos from each book and the layout for the back, seat and back of the bench, and after validation by the author and publisher, we produce 3 pdf files from which we make 3 films to be affixed to each bench. Preparing the Livre à 2 Places® (2 Seater Book®) The bench is prepared in a specialized workshop. It is first sanded and painted in the color of the book pages (off-white or whiter). The edges on either side of the 2 Seater® are painted in the dominant color of the book cover. Then a "car covering" expert (coachbuilder) applies the 3 films (back, seat and back of the bench). This delicate operation is carried out in a special ultra-high-temperature cabin (first heated to 24 degrees, then to 60 degrees to activate the glue). And finally, the 2 final coats of "anti-UV, anti-scratch and anti-shock" varnish take 2 or 3 days to dry, enabling the 2 Seats ® book to withstand all temperatures, hot or cold, and to remain outdoors in all weathers. However, on a cold winter's day, as with any work of art, it's best to consider protection. Haute Tension Communication holds the exclusive license for France, Switzerland and Monaco for these original models, and is therefore the only company authorized to produce and exhibit them.
