Renan de la GODELINAIS (1908-1986) Jumo 610 lamp, circa 1945/1950 Metal and chrome-plated metal Height 45 cm to 70 cm A native of Fougères, Renan de la Godelinais attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes and Paris before joining the staff of E.J. Ruhlmann, 1879-1933. He took part in the Brittany pavilion at the 1937 International Exhibition and joined the Seiz Breur in 1942. In 1949, he founded the Formes utiles movement within the Union des Artistes Modernes with Charlotte Perriand, 1903-1999 and René Herbst, 1891-1982.
