A pair of Louis XV carved walnut fauteuils a la reine, attributed to Pierre Nogaret This pair of armchairs is characteristic both in technique and style of the production of Lyon's best-known carpenter: Pierre Nogaret (1718-1771). The walnut is natural and simply waxed, the moldings sinuous, strongly marked and nicely softened by the use of naturalistic flowers.
