Theodolite in gilded, blackened or grey patinated brass with three levels, one of which is on the bezel, and a pivoting bezel. Signed. H. 29 cm. - Bezel length: 29 cm. Wear, oxidation and stains. With mahogany case bearing a label on the reverse of the lid "F. Stanley repaired and adjusted" with number 1367 and date 05/10/1916 (scratches and some dents; lid warped; no key). Heavy stitched leather over-cover lined with green felt (scratches, stains, two straps missing; strap worn, ready to cut).
