Brass sextant, natural or blackened. The limb has a silver-plated graduated scale, signed and numbered 294. Mahogany handle. 18.5 x 22 x 9.3 cm. Worn patina. In a mahogany case with carrying handle and a few accessories (keyless, stains, scratches, a few cracks and chips, former owner's nameplate missing). Label on reverse of lid giving correction to angle read. ATTACHED: KELVIN HUGHES, LONDON. Small patinated brass sextant. Modern reproduction. H.12 cm. In rosewood case, with instructions on upper glass. Elements to be reattached.
