SET OF FOUR COLOR PRINTS FROM "JOURNAL DES DEMOISELLE" AND "ELEGANT AND ILLUSTRATED FASHION". Set of four color prints showing scenes of the preparation of a bride in French illustrated fashion. Belonging to the Parisian magazine "Journal des Demoiselle", active from 1833 to 1922.Larger print of the same subject, belonging to the Spanish magazine "La moda Elegante e Ilustrada", active from 1849 to 1927. Framed in carved wood and worked in gilt with glass. Measurements small prints with frame: 38 x 28,5cm Size large print with frame: 42 x 32,5cm

Tiny flaws on dust jacket, perfect condition. Autograph letter from the photographer. This is Helmut Newton's (1920-2004) most famous photo collection, where fashion and nudes meet. Rare with dispatch.
