Meissen pair of vases as lamp bases bird painting underglaze blue pommel marks 1860-1924, cancelled twice, mark number 7, calabash shape with round base, surrounding decoration of two pairs of birds on stem and terrace respectively. each with two pairs of birds on a trunk and a terrace and single birds on a trunk in fine polychrome overglaze painting, the neck with blue partial ground with recessed star motifs and rich gold decoration and gold rim, without base plate and mount, partially burnt and minimally rubbed, h 30.5 cm each.

Nymphenburg "Warbler Group" Designed by Carl Graser in 1912, impressed marks from 1905, embossed model number 188 and number 4, naturalistic moulding and pastel-coloured underglaze painting, a pair of birds nesting on branches above an oval base, the beak of the bird in the nest professionally restored, otherwise in good condition, h 16.5 cm.
