Van Cleef And Arpels 1975 Gem Set Coral Band In 18Kt Gold With VVS Diamonds Beautiful vintage ring band, made in Paris France by the house of Van Cleef & Arpels, back in the 1951-1975. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish. Diamonds: Mount in a French pave setting, with 20 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.70 carats, white colorless D/E Color, VVS-1 Clarity. Gemstones: Mount with one fancy cabochon cut of natural salmon coral. Weight: 6.95 Grams, (4.45 Dwt). Size: 4.25 sizeable. Measurements: 21 mm by 9 mm (0.83 X 0.35 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the serial numbers and signed, "VCA C5160K8, 75 18KT OCT 51". Very good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. Nymphenburg mocha service "Perl" Designed by Dominikus Auliczek 1792-1794, decoration designed by Paul Ludwig Troost in 1928 for the ocean liner "Europa", impressed and green stamps 1910-1975, additional stamp with lettering Norddeutscher Lloyd and Vereinigte Werkstätten Bremen, conical dodecagonal shape with moulded stand, J-handle and relief decoration of surrounding pearl band and acanthus leaves, overglaze decoration 1801 of ochre-coloured partial ground, iron-red staffage and polished gold rims, comprising mocha pot, milk and cream jug and six place settings, good condition for age, h pot 17 cm, h cup complete 5 cm each, d plate 19 cm each. Hungarian-born painter Istvan Fisch moved to Paris in the 1950s after studying at the Beaux-Arts de Budapest and graduating from the Académie des arts de Rome. From this period until his death in 2007, he never ceased to paint, engrave and create tangled lines and forms based on his in-depth knowledge of architecture.
