Note: In 1885, Aristide Bruant began publishing a four-page weekly magazine, Le Mirliton, of which he was director. The front page was adorned with a drawing, usually by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, and the content featured Bruant's song lyrics. With an interruption between May 1896 and June 1903, the paper was published until 1906.
