Théophile Alexandre STEINLEN (1859-1923) and Aristide BRUANT (1851-1925) Autograph poem by Aristide Bruant "Les petits joyeux" illustrated with a watercolor print by Steinlen from the weekly n°103 du Mirliton. Signed, annotated and dated March 31, 1903. All in a mount with natural wood rod 47 x 38.5 cm. Stain on lower left. Note: In 1885, Aristide Bruant began publishing a four-page weekly magazine, Le Mirliton, of which he was director. The front page was adorned with a drawing, usually by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, and the content featured Bruant's song lyrics. With an interruption between May 1896 and June 1903, the paper was published until 1906.
