Gérald Genta, Wall clock, Retrograde Minutes Jump Hour, Ref. G3624, probably circa 1990. An exceptional, large, heavy and probably extremely rare metal wall clock, based on the codes of Ref. 3624. Smooth silvered metal bezel and fluted caseband, white dial, retrograde minutes and jumping hours. Exceptional and complex battery-powered electric movement, with Stop/Run/Fast -1h/+1h switches on the reverse for time setting with rapid summer/winter time changeover. An exceptional, rare and highly decorative piece, probably destined for the AD Gérald Genta, made with a real concern for quality and perfection. Weight? Approx. 14.50 kg! Functionality could not be verified. All completely screwed with a multitude of screws (over 50 just on the metal back!). Exceptional, rare and very decorative piece probably intended for AD Breguet, made with a real concern for quality and perfection. The weight of the object ? About 35 pounds ! Very simple back hanging system. The hours and minutes run perfectly, as evidenced by the qualitative "clack" sound every 60 seconds. We were unable to complete the date change despite setting commands.
