Square folio, edition illustrated with 41 facsimile reproductions of the drawings made by Dali to illustrate Bienvenuto Cellini's autobiography and 11 unpublished preparatory sketches preserved at the Gala Salvador Dali Foundation. Limited edition of 998 numbered copies, this one no. 50. Bound in publisher's full midnight-blue cloth, decorated on the front cover with a stylized leaf in gilded metal with green and red cabochons imitating a clasp, as well as the title, author and gilded stamp of Dali's signature. In an important publisher's slipcase. (slight rubbing to binding).
