MARSEILLE 1784 Oil and vinegar cruet with silver stoppers, Louis XVI period. Decorated with fairy leaves and pearl friezes. Set on four openwork scrolled feet with attachments also highlighted with pearl friezes. A pair of crystal flasks. Localized hallmarks on the body with the hallmark for MARSEILLE 1784 (knot with vintage "84"). Master goldsmith's hallmark: Joseph TEISSERE ("IT" crowned and fleur-de-lys below), received in 1769. Max. length: 30.1 cm. Silver weight: 633.4 gr Total gross weight (with flasks): 1207.04 grams. Two locknuts missing.

Attractive rectangular copper ember stove, with blackened wooden handle and filleted corners, fitted with an ash receptacle. The two parts are joined by four uprights with shell-shaped ends, forming the dish supports at the top and the rolled-up feet at the bottom. The bottom of the ember receptacle is removable and screwed to the ash receptacle. Openwork decoration with geometric and stamped motifs. Length: 21.5 cm excluding handle. Width: 17 cm.
