A sabre for light cavalry troopers, 1st quarter of the 19th century Heavy, slightly curved single-edged blade (partially pitted) with fullers on both sides, stamped "(P)ARIS" on the back, a circular mark on the obverse side. Non-ferrous metal knuckle-bow hilt with two one-third point scales, "central iron", leather-covered grip and triple copper wire winding. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 100 cm. Iron basket hilt with an openwork Maltese cross, riveted black leather grip scales. Iron scabbard with two rigid suspension rings. Signs of use and age. Length 101 cm. Condition: II +
