M1 (E) Garand Bayonet. Rare maker: Oneida Limited. This is a (E) which stood for experimental. It was made from a cutdown 16-inch bayonet when the need for a shorter fighting knife/bayonet was being trialed. This proved a success, and the shorter bayonet went into production by the end of 1943. You can see that the (Fuller) or blood channel has been cut whereas a later standard M1 has a spear point after the Fuller.

WW2 US M1 Helmet Made by McCord no liner. The shell is batched marked 1266D which means it was made Nov-Dec 1944 which means this is one of the first batch of rear seam helmets when the changed the rim to manganese steel which did not shine like the earlier stainless-steel rims once the paint wore off.
