BIEDERMEIER Large mahogany and natural pine veneered sofa. The uprights, in the form of large "S" scrolls, rest on quadrangular stepped bases with staves. The curved back, seat and armrests are upholstered in champagne silk by Pierre Frey, decorated with flowers and foliage and edged with Indian-style passementerie. Nobilis fabric (minor wear and tear, back not veneered in natural pine). Bohemia. Circa 1820. H : 100 cm ; W : 190 cm; D : 70 cm History : Similar model preserved in the Prague Museum under inventory number 92.709/1985.
