Rozenburg lidded vase with iris decoration The Hague/Netherlands, dated 1904, black stamp mark 1900-1914, painted year mark, order number 53 and painter's signature for Samuel Schellink, thin-walled and slightly transparent, so-called eggshell porcelain with fine underglaze painting in shades of green, blue and purple, rectangular body with slightly recessed stand, two small strap handles on the horizontal shoulder, short tubular neck and pointed domed lid, the floral decoration repeated on the opposite side with small carnation blossoms and one large iris blossom each, rare piece, partial delicate age craquelure and tip of the lid with "flea bite", otherwise very good unrestored condition, h 23.5 cm.
