The shallow dish rising from a slightly spreading foot to a gently curved rim, covered overall in a lavender-blue glaze thinning to mushroom at the rim and boldly splashed with deep reddish-purple. The foot ring unglazed revealing the dark brown body. Provenance: New York trade. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, firing flaws including dark spots, and few minor chips to the foot ring. The inside of the foot ring with small old fills.
