AN EARLY INDONESIAN KULIT SEMANGKA PAMOR SPEARHEAD Possibly Madura, Java, Indonesia, 16th century With a wavy, almost S-shaped, double-edged, laminated iron blade with a tapering tip, known as urubing wilah, supported by a narrow, tapering shaft with grooved lines, the alternating laminations of iron and nickelous iron (pamor) on the blade creating a charming wave or cloud-like pattern (kulit semangka) often associated with early kris dagger pamors from the Javanese provinces, 47cm long.
