TWO TRIBAL INDIAN BRONZE HANGING ORNAMENTS AN EYE FOR DETAIL: PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE ESTATE IN NORTHERN LONDON Possibly Orissa (Odisha), Eastern India, second half 19th century and later Each hanging ornament possibly once used as a candlelight holder, made of a long tapering shaft with a curved, hook-like head, and a rounded, cup-like base, each shaft elaborately incised, worked, and embellished with copper studs and fittings covering the central structure, the smallest shaft featuring an anthropomorphised figure with large pierced earlobes, the largest 40cm long, the smallest 35cm long.
