TWO INDIAN STEEL BELT BUCKLES WITH FLORAL MOTIFS AN EYE FOR DETAIL: PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE ESTATE IN NORTHERN LONDON Possibly Deccan, Central India, 19th century Comprising a gold-plated steel belt buckle with stylised lotus flowers on each side, spraying curved, serrated leaves to their sides, 9.5cm x 6.5cm; and another, larger in size, with cusped arches on the wider sides, featuring a pierced openwork reticulate embellished with a cypress tree flanked by rosettes on each side, 12cm x 13cm.
