THREE INDIAN NUTCRACKERS WITH TRIANGULAR STEEL BLADES AN EYE FOR DETAIL: PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE ESTATE IN NORTHERN LONDON South India, 19th century Comprising a brass cracker featuring makara and peacock heads on opposite ends of the handles, 19cm long; and two plainer examples in steel, one with ribbed marks on the upper portion of the handles, the latter ribbed and incised throughout, the largest 14.5cm long, the smallest 8.5cm long.
