TWO STAINED GLASS WINDOWS WITH EUROPEAN-STYLE INTERIOR SCENES AN EYE FOR DETAIL: PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE ESTATE IN NORTHERN LONDON Possibly Tamil Nadu, Southern India or England made for the Indian export market, late 19th - 20th century Designed as round arch windows, made of unevenly sized, painted and monochrome stained glass segments, featuring two Indian ladies in Westernised interior settings, one dressed in a red saree and reclined on a green-lined chaise longue, above her a heavy green curtain with several tassles, the latter wearing a saree with chequered floral motif and sitting on a European high-chair in a Westernised interior with urn-like vases, a French writing desk, and several other artifacts of foreign origin, the largest window 93cm x 51cm.
