Fritz Richter-Elsner (1884 - 1970) - Dancer with Castanets, German, 20th century Cast bronze figure of a naked beauty dancing elegantly with castanets. Beautifully shiny light brown patina. Signed "F. Richter", on the edge of the plinth "Oskar Gladenbeck (G).m.b.H . Lct. Bronce garant" inscribed on the edge of the plinth. The right ankle broken. On a round stone base. Height 26 cm. Fritz Richter-Elsner (1884 - 1970) was a sculptor working in Berlin who focused on funerary monuments. From 1905 to 1916 he was foundry manager for Oskar Gladenbeck. Condition: II +

Following models of FERNANDO BOTERO (Medellín, Colombia, 1932-Monaco, 2023). "Woman and bull. Bronze. With marks on the base. Measurements: 34,5 x 28 x 20 cm; 4 x 27 x 18,5 cm (base). Bronze sculpture representing a naked woman, with a long hair and voluminous body. She is seated sideways on the back of a bull, whose anatomy has also been resolved with Botero's characteristic rounded forms. Like the Colombian master, the bronze artist endows the female figure with a plean sensuality that is alien to the standards of beauty.
